Caring for your health and your family’s wellbeing is an important part of your academic success. °µÍøÊÓÆµoffers a variety of on-campus health and wellness services designed to support student parents physically, emotionally, and holistically throughout their college journey. The resources below can help you access medical care, mental health support, and family-focused services.
On-Campus Services and Programs for Students with Children
Beach Wellness provides health promotion programs, workshops, and resources that support student wellbeing. Topics may include stress management, parenting wellness, nutrition, sexual health, and self-care strategies to help students balance academic, family, and personal responsibilities.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers confidential mental health counseling, crisis support, workshops, and wellness resources for °µÍøÊÓÆµstudents. Student parents can connect with counselors to discuss stress, parenting challenges, relationships, academic pressures, and overall emotional wellbeing in a supportive environment.
Family PACT is a confidential reproductive and sexual health program for eligible low-income California residents who are uninsured or need confidential services separate from a spouse or parent’s insurance.
Qualified students may receive services such as:
- Birth control and contraceptive counseling
- Well-woman exams
- Pregnancy testing
- Emergency contraception (Plan B)
- Basic reproductive and sexual health services

is California’s public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost medical coverage for eligible individuals and families, including children and pregnant parents.
is a free, voluntary program that connects first-time parents with registered nurses who provide guidance and support during pregnancy and early childhood development.
Provides resources, early childhood programs, developmental support, and family education services focused on children from prenatal stages through age five.
