Whether you are looking to connect with other student parents, explore counseling services, or find campus advocates who understand your experience, the following resources are here to help you feel supported, heard, and empowered throughout your academic journey.
Dean of Students Office
The Dean of Students Office provides advocacy, support, and case management for students navigating personal or academic challenges. Student parents can connect with staff for guidance, referrals, and assistance accessing campus resources that promote wellbeing, persistence, and overall student success.

BEACH Parent - Therapy & Support Space
BEACH Parent is a supportive group counseling space offered through Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) where pregnant and parenting students can connect, share experiences, and build community. Group sessions provide a welcoming environment to explore topics such as self-care, work-life-school balance, parenting, healthy relationships, identity, and navigating campus resources.
Eligibility: Students must first meet with a CAPS clinician and receive a referral to join the group.

ASI Commissioner on Pregnant and Parenting Students
The ASI Commissioner advocates for the needs, experiences, and success of pregnant and parenting students. This student leader works to raise awareness, elevate student parent voices, and serve on the President’s Cabinet to help shape policies and campus initiatives that support student parents.

Students with Dependents (SWD)
Students with Dependents (SWD) is a student-led organization that builds community among °µÍøÊÓÆµstudents who are parents, guardians, or pregnant. Through events, peer connection, and curated resources, SWD creates supportive spaces that center the experiences of student parents and nontraditional students. The organization also meets with °µÍøÊÓÆµadministration and faculty to raise awareness about the unique challenges students with dependents may face while pursuing a degree and to advocate for a more inclusive campus environment.
