Applying to the Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice at °µÍøÊÓÆµrequires a dual application — one to the University through Cal State Apply, and a second directly to the MSCCJ program. Follow all steps closely.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must submit:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in last 60 semester units (2.75–3.0 considered with strong application)
  • MSCCJ Program Application Form
  • CV/rxe9sumxe9
  • Statement of purpose (750–1,250 words)
  • Writing sample or GRE/LSAT scores
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Official and unofficial transcripts

Application Process

  1. Submit your application through — select Special Sessions Degree Program
  2. Submit the MSCCJ Program Application Form directly to the program
  3. Arrange official transcripts to be sent to °µÍøÊÓÆµEnrollment Services
  4. Upload all required documents to Cal State Apply in PDF format
  5. Wait for your University admissions decision, then register per the Graduate Advisor’s directions
