Advising
These are advising hours for the Spring 2026 semester.
The English Department Undergraduate and Graduate Advisors can help with concerns regarding your English major or minor emphasis, including the Single Subject Credential Program; general education requirements; transfer credit; study abroad courses; and your progress towards graduation.
Please check which area within the English major each professor is advising for, and please check your Academic Requirements report (on your Student Center) before seeing an advisor. When you contact an advisor by e-mail, please include your student ID number.
Regular advising begins Tuesday, January 20, 2026 (first day of classes) and ends Friday, May 8, 2026 (last day of classes). There are no regular advising hours during spring break (March 30 – April 5).
Official advising hours end with the last day of classes, so if you need help after that, please e-mail the appropriate advisor(s) or the .
