Regular advising hours are not held during the summer, though two advisors are available to assist students throughout the summer.
 
From May 18 through August 14, Prof. Rene Treviño and Prof. Stephanie Johnson are available to respond through email to incoming transfer students and to continuing °µÍøÊÓƵstudents. Please note that responses may be slower than usual due to summer schedules.

English Department Advising - Winter 2026  
For winter 2026, the English Department is offering undergraduate advising for incoming transfer students only (students beginning enrollment in spring 2026). 
Please check which area within the English major each professor is advising for, and please check your Academic Requirements Report (on your Student Center) before seeing an advisor. When you contact an advisor by e-mail, please include your student ID number. 
Winter 2026 advising begins Friday, December 26th, 2025, and ends Friday, January 18th, 2026.
