The UWC is hiring a FWS Front Desk Assistant for Fall 2025!
This student assistant (SA) position serves as a receptionist for the University Writing Center front desk and assists the Director and Coordinator(s) with administrative tasks for the UWC. As a front desk team member, you will help us create a friendly and welcoming environment for students seeking our services. This position is only open for Federal Work Study recipients. We are your campus-wide writing-focused writing consultation center. We offer various consultation services and workshops for students across the campus, from one-on-one in-depth consultations where you can get answers to your writing questions to workshops on taking the GPE, writing strong arguments, and proofreading. Our goal is to help you become an effective and independent writer.
