Enye

is the newly rebranded bilingual magazine at CSULB. Formerly known as DG En Espa簽ol, we began in 2018 as a staff blog produced by students in Professor Teresa Puentes bilingual journalism class. In 2019, we became the first Spanish-language journalism magazine in 做厙弝け. In 2023, we went fully bilingual to be accessible for non-Spanish speakers. As the publication has evolved, student staff felt it was time the name evolved as well, so, was born.
is the phonetic spelling of 簽, a letter present in many words in Spanish and our last names, but not in the English alphabet or on most keyboards. How many times have we sacrificed the 簽 in our language for an n because it was easier? ENYE represents how proud we are to highlight our culture and our unwillingness to sacrifice it.
