Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead
Tuesday, October 28th from 11am-4:30pm at the Anatol Center (AS-119)
Join us for a full day of honoring this important cultural tradition of honoring our loved ones who have passed. Throughout the day you can visit altars from students and groups and watch performances, documentaries and special presentations (schedule to be announced). Free and open to all.

Flores de Papel Art Workshop

Location: Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum
Learn to make flores de papel (paper flowers) with Chicanx Latinx Studies Student Association (CHLSSA) at Kleefeld Contemporary on lower campus. CHLSSA members will teach participants how to make flores de papel in the tradition of Mexican and Central American artisans for Day of the Dead and other celebrations. Join us for this hands-on activity and learn about the Indigenous and colonial roots of paper-flower making. Via Kleefeld Contemporary and CHLSSA
