Thanks to a generous and forward-thinking gift from retired Associate Vice President of Beach Building Services (known at the time as Physical Plant Department) Jon Regnier, the iconic Walter Pyramid is now surrounded by dozens of grand palm trees, bringing energy, vibrancy, and identity to one of the most beloved landmarks at °µÍøÊÓƵ State University.
This transformative gift does more than beautify the space, it helps shape the future of our campus. The trees offer much needed shade, enhance the student experience, and contribute meaningfully to our sustainability efforts.
