Register your game console, smart TV, media player, and smart devices for use on the campus network

How To Connect Your Wireless Device:

*In order to access the REGISTER form webpage, you will need to first connect your laptop or mobile phone to the campus Wi-Fi:  eduroam.  Go to for more information on how to connect your laptop or mobile phone to the Wi-Fi

Instructions:

For assistance in finding your device mac address,

Example of Mac Address 00:00:00:00:00:00 or 00-00-00-00-00-00. Contains numbers 0-9 and letters A-F.

 

In order to access the device registration portal webpage, you must use a computer, tablet, or phone that is connected to eduroam.

Once you click on the "" link, you will be redirected to CSULB's Single Sign On. Use your campus email and password to continue.

Fill in the required fields: Device Name, Device Type* , and Mac Address from step 1.


* If your Device Type is not listed, choose (Other)

 

To register device, input Name, Device Type, and MAC address

Registration is complete. Your device will be active until the Account Expiration Date.

Using the password you created during the device registration,  connect your game console, smart device, or media player to the WiFi:  BeachResidents.   

  • The device registration input page is only available to residents while connected to the campus Wi-Fi.  You will need to first connect your device to eduroam to access the "Register" button on the webpage.
  • Devices on "eduroam" will not be able to communicate with with devices on "BeachResidents"
  • For safer online browsing, we recommend you still use eduroam for your PC, Mac, laptop, tablet, and mobile phone.
  • PCs, Macs, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones that are registered through the device registration portal to use with "BeachResidents" will be removed.
