Last Minute Final Exam Reminders
Please read the information below regarding your final exams at the BMAC office, and to learn more about how to check on the status of your requests as well as what to expect at BMAC during Fall 2025 Finals Week (Friday, December 12th – Thursday, December 18th, 2025). 
You may disregard this message if your Final Exam does not require Proctoring. Please ensure to check that the Time Limit/Time Allotted on your Canvas exam(s) is correct before starting the exam(s). Review the image below for more guidance.
Using MyBMAC to Check Your Final Exam(s) Reservation(s) 
You can check the status of your final exam appointment requests by accessing your MyBMAC profile via Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Once you are logged into MyBMAC, navigate to the My Accommodations menu on the left-hand side of the page, and click on Alternative Testing. 
- You will be redirected to your Alternative Testing page. At the center of this page, your exam requests will be listed. 
- Please review your course details, exam date, exam time, and testing location for your request(s). If you have any questions or think there may be an error, please notify BMAC Support Services as soon as possible at BMAC-Exams@csulb.edu.

BMAC Final Exam Testing Locations
Will be listed as BMAC, SP, or CONF with corresponding seat number in MyBMAC if you have been assigned to this space.
Will be listed as BB with corresponding seat number in MyBMAC if you have been assigned to this space. Please refer to the for a visual direction.
Text-Only Direction from BMAC to The Pointe:
- Start at the Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC)
- With the entrance of BMAC behind you, face northwest, toward the University Bookstore area.
- Walk straight on the main walkway.
- You will pass FO3 (Faculty Offices 3) on your left
- Continue straight as the walkway curves slightly west.
- Continue to the Bookstore Convenience Store
- Walk straight toward the Amazon @ The Beach / University Bookstore area.
- You will pass:
- Psychology on your left
- University Bookstore on your right
- Follow the walkway as it curves.
- Continue to Parking Lot E10
- Walk straight until you reach the edge of Parking Lot E10.
- Turn right onto the sidewalk that runs between E10 and the University Bookstore.
- You will pass:
- Amazon @ The Beach / Bookstore on your right
- E10 on your left
- Continue straight and stop before you reach the stairs leading down to the 49er Shops Vendor Parking.
- Turn Left Toward West Campus Drive
- Turn left (west) and follow the walkway along the south edge of Parking Lot E11.
- Continue walking until you reach West Campus Drive.
- When you reach West Campus Drive, turn right (north).
- Walk along the sidewalk toward the large GO BEACH letters and Brotman Hall.
- Caution:
- There are several crosswalks along West Campus Drive.
- The sidewalk has a gentle downhill slope.
- Walk Toward Brotman Hall (BH)
- Continue north until the sidewalk straightens and brings you to the bus loop with the GO BEACH letters.
- Ahead of you is Brotman Hall, with a large fountain in front.
- Use either:
- Main Route (Ramp):
- With the fountain on your left, follow the walkway that slopes down the ramp toward the College of Business.
- Caution:
- This ramp is steeper than previous ramps.
- Alternative Route (Using Elevator):
- Enter Brotman Hall.
- Use the elevator next to the Financial Aid Office to go down to the first floor.
- Exit Brotman Hall facing Parking Lot E1.
- Turn right, and use the crosswalk to reach the northwest side of Brotman Drive.
- Once across, turn right (north) and follow the sidewalk toward the College of Business.
- Main Route (Ramp):
- Continue North Past the College of Business (COB) and Wall Street Café
- Continue straight on the main walkway.
- You will pass:
- College of Business on your left
- Wall Street Café on your right
- Stay on the main walkway as it continues north.
- Walk Toward the Track & Field Area
- Continue walking north.
- You will pass:
- Pyramid Parking Structure on your left
- Track and Field areas on your right
- The large oval track will be on your right as you continue north along the west side of the track.
- Pass the Barrett Athletic Administration Center (BAC)
- Continue north with BAC (Barrett Athletic Administration Center) on your right, just after the track ends.
- Walk straight toward the Pyramid.
- Approach the Pyramid (PYR)
- Continue north. The Pyramid is directly ahead.
- You will still have the Pyramid Parking Structure on your left as you approach.
- Remain on the walkway that leads to the northwest corner of the Pyramid.
- Arrive at The Pointe
- The Pointe entrance is located on the northwest side of the Pyramid, under the yellow northwest stairs.
- The entrance will be directly in front of you at the end of the walkway.
- You have arrived at The Pointe.

- Exit through the BMAC front door to the outside. When you are outside with your back to the door, turn left.
- Walk straight, staying close to the building wall as a shoreline.
- As you walk, you will pass three benches along the wall. Keep going past all three benches.
- After the third bench, continue straight until you reach three separate sets of doors in a row.
- Count the sets of doors as you walk: first set, second set, third set. Go to the second set of doors (the middle set) and go through them. This is the entrance to the Conference Room (CR), room SSSC 122.

First Floor Route
- Begin at the front door of the BMAC and exit the room.
- After exiting, turn left and keep your hand or cane along the wall on your left side as you walk forward.
- You will pass three benches along this wall. Continue straight past all three.
- After the benches, you will encounter three sets of double doors on your left.
- Enter through the third set of doors to re-enter the SSSC building.
- Once inside, walk straight ahead until you reach the end of the wall in front of you.
- When the wall ends, turn right.
- Walk straight ahead; the hallway will widen. Continue until you find the elevator on your left.
- The staircase to the basement is directly across from the elevator.
- You may use either the elevator or the staircase to go down to the basement level.
Basement Level Route
- If you took the elevator, turn right when you exit.
If you took the staircase, turn left at the bottom. - Walk straight ahead. You will pass a set of double doors on your left and a single door on your right. Keep going a few more steps until the hallway opens up.
- Follow along the left-hand wall. As you move forward, you will pass five doors. The fifth door on your left is the Express Lab (Room SSSC 020).

Checking In for Final Exams: What to Bring & Expect 
- Students should arrive at their designated final exam testing location 15 minutes prior to their scheduled exam time to allow ample time for check-in and to ensure exams start on time. 
- Students will be expected to present a photo ID (campus or government-issued) at check-in. 
- Students will be expected to supply their own writing utensils, scantrons, green books, and other approved exam materials. 
- Scooters, bicycles, and skateboards are not permitted in the testing site locations due to safety concerns. Refer to the Campus Wheel Paths and Bike Racks website to know where to lock your scooters, bicycles or skateboards. Please plan ahead.
BMAC Alternative Testing Policies and Procedures 
Please take time to review  in advance of taking all assessments (quizzes, exams, and finals) with accommodations. BMAC students are expected to follow all policies and guidelines outlined in this document.
