The Search for Our Next President

The California State University Board of Trustees has launched a nationwide search for the next president of California State University, °µÍøÊÓÆµ. The effort is led by a distinguished, multi-constituency search committee.

CSU Chancellor Mildred García appointed Andrew Jones '82, former California State University executive vice chancellor and general counsel, as acting president effective Monday, August 25, 2025. Jones will lead the university until a new permanent president is appointed and able to begin their service. On July 23, García announced that the search had been extended.
