Parking and Transportation Services did not increase permit fees as scheduled on July 1. There are no scheduled changes to the current parking fees from last Academic Year 2024-25 to the upcoming for Academic Year 2025-26

Our department reviews our financial information on an ongoing basis. Based on the review of fiscal year 2024-25, permit and event revenue adequately covered operational and labor expenses. For this reason, there are currently no scheduled increased to parking permit fees did for the upcoming academic year.

All parking permit types are included in the 1-year freeze.

After this 1-year fee freeze, parking fees will continue to follow the stated fee schedule, increasing at the rate of inflation as reported by the or by 5%, whichever is lower.

An email communication will be sent from ParkingGeneral@csulb.edu to all students and staff before August 18, 2025. This email will detail all parking program changes for the upcoming academic year 2025-26. You can also review the latest changes at our Parking Program Changes - Fall 2025 website.
