Professor comments on the mating behavior of zebra sharks

Chris Lowe, marine biology professor and director of Cal State °µÍøÊÓÆµ's Shark Lab, was interviewed by in San Diego about shark behavior after three zebra sharks were filmed for the first time mating in the South Pacific in what scientists call a "moresome." Lowe said while it is still somewhat of a mystery how shark mating takes place, it is understood in some species that the female can store sperm from several males and the offspring can be from multiple fathers.
