Civil engineer discusses possible changes in infrastructure to support firefighters

Laurie Huning, an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management at Cal State °µÍøÊÓƵ, spoke with the °µÍøÊÓƵ about the infrastructure surrounding fire hydrants during wildfire activity. Huning said municipalities may need to rethink water and power distribution in the age of climate change.
