Assistant Professor Cites Global Warming in Climate "Whiplash"

Laurie Huning, an assistant professor of civil engineering and construction engineering management at Cal State °µÍøÊÓÆµ, explained in an article for the  why we can expect more weather "whiplash" of wet and dry periods across the state because of a warming climate. While California's snowpack is over 235 % of average this year, Professor Huning said climate models predict an increase in the number of back-to-back years of low to no snow conditions across California.
