Rashida Crutchfield

Rashida Crutchfield, Ed.D., is a professor in the School of Social Work and executive director of the at Cal State °µÍøÊÓÆµ.

Crutchfield’s areas of practice and research focus on student homelessness in higher education, students’ basic needs security, and social work community practice. Dr. Crutchfield led Phase I of the California State University Office of the Chancellor’s study on food and housing security and was co-principal investigator for Phases II and III of the same study.

Crutchfield holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Cal State, °µÍøÊÓÆµ, and a Master of Arts from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
