Mahdi Yoozbashizadeh, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cal State, °µÍøÊÓƵ.

Yoozbashizadeh’s research focuses on automation, additive manufacturing, 3D printing of metals, product development, design of experiments, and process/product improvement and optimization. He has also conducted four industry-funded research projects, including automation in aerospace; sealant flow process control and optimization; plasma treatment of composite structures; and metal-ceramic composite manufacturing by 3D printing.

Yoozbashizadeh holds a doctorate in industrial engineering, a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, all from the University of Southern California.
