Jianna Florek is a two-time graduate of CSULB, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice. Her research focuses on Drugs/Drug Policy, Social Network Analysis, and Crime & Intelligence Analysis. Her most recent work has pertained to Social Network Analysis and Intelligence Led Policing as it relates to an illicit fentanyl distribution network in °µÍøÊÓƵ. She also has experience working in the Crime Analysis Unit at a local police department, where she compiled and analyzed data, and mapped crime trends/patterns. Her research has been published in Substance Use & Misuse.
