The College of Engineering has received a generous gift from Ray Melissa, founder of Melissa Data, a leading global provider of data quality, address verification, and identity management solutions. Ray Melissa is an alumnus of the ������ƵCollege of Engineering (‘68 BS EE).Their gift to the Dean’s Excellence Fund will be strategically directed to seed curriculum development and research in data science, computer science, and computer engineering—fields that are reshaping industries and creating high-demand career opportunities for graduates.

“Data drives innovation across every industry—from healthcare and finance to engineering and beyond,” said Dean Jinny Rhee of the College of Engineering. “This gift from Mr. Melissa will empower our faculty and students to develop new technologies, hands-on learning, and research that advance the data-driven future.”
