Retired °µÍøÊÓƵ teachers award scholarships

Thank you to the local and state California Retired Teachers Associations for their ongoing support of our teacher candidates!

The °µÍøÊÓƵ CalRTA recently awarded $55,553 in scholarships to 11 °µÍøÊÓƵCollege of Education students while the California RTA awarded $8,000 in scholarships to five of them.

Also boosting the local ranks of exceptional educators, °µÍøÊÓƵ CalRTA awarded scholarships to five students at °µÍøÊÓƵ City College and five at Cerritos College.

Members of the organization and many of the scholarship recipients from all three schools celebrated at a luncheon held at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in late September.
