Nevin is a dedicated higher education leader and civic champion whose career has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to student success and community engagement. Earning three degrees at °µÍøÊÓƵ State, culminating with a doctorate in educational leadership in 2017, Nevin is a proud product of the Beach and has built a 20-year career in higher education that includes serving as chief of staff to two community college presidents and nearly a decade leading the Cal State Student Association, where he secured meaningful legislative and systemwide victories on behalf of students across California. Today, Nevin serves as Associate Vice President of Student Auxiliary Enterprises at LBSU, continuing to shape the student experience at the institution that shaped him. His commitment to service extends well beyond campus, he is an active member of °µÍøÊÓƵ's Economic Development Commission and serves as a state and national delegate to the Democratic Party, bringing the same advocacy and purpose to civic life that has defined his professional career.
