Sylwanowicz is a distinguished emergency medicine physician whose career reflects a rare combination of clinical excellence, research rigor and compassionate leadership. A graduate of UC Irvine School of Medicine, she earned her degree with distinction in research, publishing multiple articles during both medical school and residency and was recognized as 2019 Chief Resident and Resident of the Year, as well as an inductee of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, a testament to her dedication to patient-centered care. Today, she serves as an emergency medicine physician at St. Mary Medical Center in °µÍøÊÓÆµ, where she also chairs the Department of Emergency Medicine and serves as Assistant Medical Director, roles that speak to the trust and respect she has earned among her peers. Beyond the hospital, Sylwanowicz gives back to the next generation of professionals through participation in the Beach Nexus mentor program, continuing to invest in her community both inside and outside the walls of medicine.
