Nurijanyan is a visionary nonprofit leader whose work is rooted in lived experience and driven by a commitment to ensuring no student has to choose between their basic needs and earning a degree. Drawing from his own journey as a first-generation college student who faced food and housing insecurity, Nurijanyan founded Student LunchBox in 2020, launching the organization with °µÍøÊÓƵas its first campus partner and growing it into a college-centered support network that now serves thousands of students each month across Los Angeles County. Through his leadership, Student LunchBox has expanded to numerous colleges and universities, providing consistent access to food and essential resources that help students stay enrolled and succeed academically. What began at °µÍøÊÓƵhas since grown into a broader movement to normalize basic needs support on college campuses and empower students to persist, thrive and give back to their communities.
