Scott is a dedicated veteran advocate and public servant whose career reflects an unwavering commitment to ensuring that those who served our nation receive the support and dignity they deserve. Following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps, Scott channeled his service into a mission-driven career that has spanned roles as Executive Director of U.S. VETS–Phoenix, Commissioner on both the Arizona Veteran Services Advisory Commission and the Military Veterans Commission for the City of Phoenix and a progression through the Arizona Department of Veterans' Services from Assistant Deputy Director to Deputy Director to his current role as Director, where he now oversees the wellbeing of hundreds of thousands of veterans statewide. Throughout his career, Scott has driven meaningful, measurable change for veterans facing homelessness, mental health challenges and employment barriers, helping hundreds transition to stable housing, meaningful work and healthier lives.
