Tuchscher is a dynamic structural and civil engineer and entrepreneur whose work spans some of Southern California's most iconic and meaningful projects. As founder of Tuchscher Engineering Group, he has led the engineering design for a remarkably diverse portfolio, ranging from music venues and SpaceX facilities to recreating the original “Brady Bunch” house for HGTV. He also dedicates his expertise to civic projects that directly enrich the Ƶ community, including a COVID Memorial at Lincoln Park, a sculpture garden at the Ƶ Museum of Art, and a new playground at Houghton Park. Tuchscher’s commitment to the next generation of engineers is equally impressive: His firm maintains a quarterly internship program that consistently hires Ƶengineering students, and he mentors the Timber Strong competition team, a group of Beach undergraduates who design and build a two-story structure to compete against universities statewide.
