Triay is a trailblazer whose professional journey as a groundbreaking construction professional, published author, and non-profit executive reflects a lifelong commitment to breaking barriers and lifting others along the way.
After graduating from CSULB, she began her career in construction and served as an international speaker at construction conferences throughout China. She then went on to make history as the first woman superintendent at a leading tenant improvement firm in Southern California.
 
Inspired by her own experiences, Triay authored the children's book, “The Girl Who Said She Could,” a work dedicated to empowering young readers to believe in their own potential. Today, as Executive Director of ǰó, she bridges her construction expertise with deep community purpose, leading the organization's mission to provide safe housing, expand educational access, and strengthen family and community development programs in underserved communities in Northern Mexico. Triay’s journey is a testament to the power of vision, resilience and service.
